15th January 2011 Windsurfing: Poole Harbour Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: 21-24MPH Surf / Sea State: Flat! Air Temperature: 10.5 Sea Temperature: ? Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Not exactly the first session of 2011, but the first one with wind so the first time on the water.... Very short session in quite strong conditions. a small number of good runs before the boom fell apart and I was launched across the front. Battered and bruised, but after nearly 6 months off the water it was good to get out and was not as cold as expected. Good, but short! |
